Kenosi notes the misconception that many people who are grant recipients may not believe they qualify for traditional/formal banking, lending or insurance products. EasyPay Everywhere has tried to address this by designing accessible, affordable, and relevant financial solutions that meet the needs of grant recipients designed to drive financial inclusion.

For customer convenience, EasyPay Everywhere also makes products available through multiple channels including via the contact centre, physical branches or digitally, via USSD.

Based on customer insights, we’ve designed products that address the real needs of our customers. We’ve recently introduced higher loan amounts, as we know that this level of credit is needed in the communities we serve. We want to ensure customers do not have to revert to informal or unsafe lending practices and can access the cash they need in a safe, regulated, and accessible way. While traditional banks typically do not lend to the grant recipient market, many customers are exposed to informal lenders who may offer credit at high interest rates and short, inflexible repayment terms – leaving very little funds available for customers to cover their monthly expenses and service living needs.

The EasyPay Loans solution aims to address these needs more effectively and empower customers who need safer, responsible access to credit that really works to help improve their lives.
